There’s something so special about watching a couple grow—not just in love, but in life. Meagan and Jackson were one of my very first clients when I started my business three years ago, and being invited into each chapter of their story since then has meant the world to me. From couple’s photos to engagement, wedding day to baby announcement, and now capturing this maternity session as they prepare to welcome their daughter—it’s the kind of full-circle magic that everyone needs.
For their maternity session, we went back to where it began—Spring Lake Beach, the same spot we shot their engagement photos. We were hoping for a warm spring morning… but instead, we got freezing temps, 30 MPH winds, and absolutely zero chance of getting in the water. (Toes were literally numb, not even kidding.) But the sunrise showed up for us (if you are a photographer you know the stress I was under with this weather so thank you sun), casting the dreamiest glow across the sand—honestly? It was perfect.
These two always trust the ideas I come to them with, they always show up ready to have fun, and that’s exactly what makes sessions with them so easy and so them. Despite the cold, their joy, their connection, and the way they’re already loving on their baby girl made this morning unforgettable.
And just a little side note if you’re planning a trip to Spring Lake: we stayed at the Carriage House in Ocean Grove and I can’t recommend it enough. Sweetest owner, fresh cookies in the afternoon, popcorn for movie nights in bed, and breakfast that deserves its own blog post. 10/10.
Meagan and Jackson—thank you for letting me be part of your story. Watching you step into this next chapter of parenthood is such an honor. I can’t wait to meet your little girl.

Born with a deep belief that real stories are the heart of every celebration, I understand that a wedding is more than just an event—it’s a story waiting to be told. For me, photography isn’t just about capturing moments; it’s about building a relationship, understanding the unique connection between two people, and creating art that reflects the beauty and raw emotion of your day. Each photo I take is designed to reflect not just what you see, but what you feel, turning every laugh, tear, and glance into timeless art.
Photos that capture your
connection.
Your love, your vibe—let’s make it look as amazing as it feels.
Being a Wedding Photographer wasn't always the plan...
I was (and still am) a special education teacher—someone who spends her weekdays in classrooms, not studios. But somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera and fell hard for the way it let me see people. The way it let me slow down and pay attention to the things that matter: connection, movement, emotion, joy that doesn't need to be posed.
Now, I photograph weddings and couples with that same lens—chasing honest moments, big energy, and the kind of photos that feel like memories.
I didn’t build this business to be booked and busy every waking moment. I built it so I could do what I love and still be home for dinner, still be present with my family, still have space for the life I live outside of work. The balance this world brings me means I show up with INTENTION. With ENERGY. With fresh eyes and an open heart—every freaking time for you.
If you're looking for a photographer who’s not just clocking in but actually cares—you’re in the right place.
"Truly a dream.."
Rachel was absolutely amazing. So easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable. Truly a dream, made my Disney wedding vision come true. My husband is not a camera guy, but she was able to make it so much fun that he enjoyed the pictures.
