There’s something about Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado that just begs for slow moments and big love (especially when you have a view of the flat irons like that). Rachel and Tom’s couples session was the perfect mix of candid, playful energy and quiet, intimate moments—captured in true documentary style against one of many of Colorado’s iconic backdrops.
Rachel and I have known each other since we were two years old. We grew up together, drifted apart, and then found our way back to each other (living together for a summer in the Outer Banks…iconic). We have both always shared a love for travel and adventure, so it only felt right to bring it full circle and document this next chapter for her and Tom.
Before their big move from Denver to Boston this summer, Rachel and Tom wanted to capture some final memories in the place they currently call home. With Chautauqua Park’s iconic flat irons as their back drop, along with the dreamy, wild Colorado fields, it was the perfect setting for a candid couples session.

If you’re dreaming of a candid couples session in Boulder, Colorado or anywhere you can run barefoot through the grass, I’d love to tell your story too.
Born with a deep belief that real stories are the heart of every celebration, I understand that a wedding is more than just an event—it’s a story waiting to be told. For me, photography isn’t just about capturing moments; it’s about building a relationship, understanding the unique connection between two people, and creating art that reflects the beauty and raw emotion of your day. Each photo I take is designed to reflect not just what you see, but what you feel, turning every laugh, tear, and glance into timeless art.
Photos that capture your
connection.
Your love, your vibe—let’s make it look as amazing as it feels.
Being a Wedding Photographer wasn't always the plan...
I was (and still am) a special education teacher—someone who spends her weekdays in classrooms, not studios. But somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera and fell hard for the way it let me see people. The way it let me slow down and pay attention to the things that matter: connection, movement, emotion, joy that doesn't need to be posed.
Now, I photograph weddings and couples with that same lens—chasing honest moments, big energy, and the kind of photos that feel like memories.
I didn’t build this business to be booked and busy every waking moment. I built it so I could do what I love and still be home for dinner, still be present with my family, still have space for the life I live outside of work. The balance this world brings me means I show up with INTENTION. With ENERGY. With fresh eyes and an open heart—every freaking time for you.
If you're looking for a photographer who’s not just clocking in but actually cares—you’re in the right place.
"Truly a dream.."
Rachel was absolutely amazing. So easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable. Truly a dream, made my Disney wedding vision come true. My husband is not a camera guy, but she was able to make it so much fun that he enjoyed the pictures.
